Join us!
DBBC is an open-enrollment, non-profit recreational club that anyone can join! We welcome new folks year-round, and boat ownership is not required. DBBC is neither a ‘fancy’ yacht club nor a boat rental club. Our members represent a variety of diverse backgrounds and of all ages. Some have a boat, and some do not. In fact, several of our members belong to area rental clubs, but joined DBBC for a more complete social experience.
DBBC regularly schedules dinner meetings, social activities, cruises, and community service events throughout the year. Some of our regular activities are listed below.
About Us and Membership Information
What we do...
We are not a rental club, but we do strive to provide our members with a high-quality boating experience, ensuring their safety and enjoyment on the water by hosting shared events with the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the Halifax Harbor management team.
Affordable and Convenient
Community and Camaraderie
Quality Boating Experience
At Daytona Beach Boat Club, we foster a sense of community and camaraderie among our members, creating lasting friendships and a lifetime of memories. Service events include the Coastal Cleanup, Halifax Humane Society, Boys and Girls Club, Halifax Urban Ministries, and more!
We offer affordable membership options for families or singles. No hidden fees! Socials, dinners, and events have separate prices, but attendance is never mandatory.
Monthly Dinner Meetings
Social Events
Club Cruises
We host monthly dinner meetings at the clubhouse on the second Thursday of each month. Meals are specially prepared by local chef Charles Mallory of Blue Chip Catering.
Social hour begins at 6pm; dinner served at 7pm; with the business meeting starting at 8pm. Cost for dinner is $15.00 per person. You are welcomed to check us out. Just contact us for an invitation!
Holiday socials, football parties and such are held throughout the year. Other traditional events include the “Murder Mystery Party,” “Newly Wed Game,” and of course, the annual Christmas Social and Commodore’s Ball. Other activities include “Ladies’ Bunco Night,” “Bill and Wayne’s Excellent Bingo Adventure,” and our “Night Out” events on the town where we meet up at local restaurants or take in a local show. We absolutely welcome guests at these! Just let us know!
Historically, one cruise is scheduled each month, anywhere from day trips to weekends trips (and sometimes longer). The schedule varies greatly depending on many factors, like the heat, or the current price of fuel, etc. DBBC covers both the ‘Big’ boats and the smaller ‘trailer’ boats. We have travelled both the ICW as well as the St. Johns River. If you don’t have a boat, no problem! You can still attend many of our cruise destinations as most are accessible by land. Join in one of our dock parties or restaurant excursions.
